Kattuyanam Rice

One of the rice varieties grown in South India, particularly in Tamil Nadu, is called kattuyanam. One of the conventional rice kinds is kattuyanam.The rice variety kattuyanam helps people manage their diabetes. Usually, people eat kasayam prepared from the rice bran, but you can also use it to make idlies and dosas.It appears that Tamilnadu had access to more than 5,000 different varieties of rice. However, we are currently able to save about 200 different rice varieties, each of which is distinctive in its own way. Some rice cultivars can thrive even without water, while others can withstand floods and severe winds.When people began eating the typical raw rice, several traditional rice kinds with great nutritional values slowly began to disappear. Thank goodness more conventional rice varieties are being brought to us by organic growers.
